How long does an e-bike battery last on a delivery shift?
A 720 Wh delivery e-bike covers about 65 km per charge in stop-and-go city riding on normal assist (our estimate for 75 kg of rider and cargo at 15 °C). If each order averages 3 km, that is roughly 20 deliveries; the dual-battery C29 K covers about 160 km.

Deliveries per charge (estimate)
75 kg of rider and cargo, normal assist, stop-and-go riding, 15 °C. Columns show the average km per order.

Cold weather cuts range
Lithium-ion batteries deliver less energy in the cold. Our model adds 15% consumption below 10 °C and 30% below freezing, so a battery that lasts a summer shift can fall short in January. Keep the battery indoors overnight and charge it at room temperature.
Charging time and battery care
- Factory charge time: 5–7 hours for the DUOTTS models, 5–6 hours for the ELEGLIDE M2 and the VOK S.
- Charge with the original charger, indoors, at room temperature.
- Don’t run the battery to zero regularly; charge after every shift instead.
- For long breaks, store it about half charged in a cool, dry place.
How we estimate
- Base consumption: eco 7, normal 10, high 14 Wh/km.
- Weight: 1 + (kg − 75) × 0.004, rider and cargo combined.
- Cold: +15% below 10 °C, +30% below 0 °C.
- Stop-and-go delivery riding: +10%.
- Battery: the full listed capacity; hills, wind, tire pressure and battery age are not modelled.
Need a bigger battery?
The dual-battery C29 K stores 1800 Wh, enough for double shifts on one charge by our estimate.
